Our Paris apartment

It was a long walk in the airport (its huge) to the train station. Then took the regional train RER to Gare du Nord and then across the station to metro line 2 and a short ride to a station about 4 blocks from our apartment.

Our apartment in Paris - after entering the large door from the street, a walkway to the courtyard

Beautiful stairway to another part of the building

The courtyard for our building

We enter the home of our hosts where our rooms open off the entryway through the doors at right in the living room picture. Jacques and Helene were so welcoming and we look forward to talking more with them.

We have our own toilet room and shower room and a little private terrace

The view from outside the door

And across the street a cafe/bar named after our younger daughter...

This nice place plus a breakfast made just for us for about 120 Euro per night. Next time walking around our neighborhood, eating and seeing the Opera House.
